How to arrive at the first consultation

You do not need a finished brief. A plot size, a family and an honest budget are enough to begin.

The first meeting is free, and it is more useful when a few facts are on the table. The plot dimensions and the direction it faces. How many people will live in the house, including parents who may move in later. Whether you want a puja room, a separate entry for guests, a home office, or parking for two cars. And a budget range you are actually willing to build to — not the number you hope cement will cost.

We spend that conversation on lifestyle before we spend it on elevation. A duplex for a joint family is a different plan from a compact G+1 for a couple, even on the same plot size. Vastu preferences are welcome, and they are discussed against light and ventilation rather than imposed as a rigid diagram.

You will leave knowing the next step: a site reading, then a concept plan. Scope and fees are explained before drawings start, which is the only way 'no hidden charges' means anything.

Bring whatever you already have — a tippani, a previous plan, photographs of houses you like — and, if you can, the people who will actually live there.
